one day workshops feb 8th

  • INTRO TO FLAMENCO 12:30 - 1:30 This class is an introduction to basic flamenco technique and concepts for beginners

  • SEVILLANAS 1:30 - 2:30 We will be learning the partner dance of Sevillanas, all levels welcome

  • INTRO TO CUADRO SKILLS 2:30 - 3:30 We will cover the basic skills needed to participate in flamenco performance: palmas (clapping), short dances in the rumba style, entering and exiting the performance space. (all levels welcome!)

Prices: single class $20, two classes $35, three classes $55

CLASS LOCATION: ZAOMKE 2319 E KENWOOD BLVD in Milwaukee. ZaoMke is a church on Kenwood and Farwell near UWM. Classes meet on the lower level in the gym. There is a parking lot and plenty of street parking.

Class Policies

  • Workshop payments are valid only for the session they are purchased for. If space is available you may transfer from one class to the other.

  • All sales are final.

  • Video recording of class material is allowed.

  • Class scholarships available for full time students and the unemployed. Contact us for more information.

Attire

Flamenco shoes or low heeled dance shoes recommended. If you have questions about footwear please contact us!

Please wear comfortable clothing that allows for freedom of movement. Long skirts are optional but so fun! If you need tips on where to buy shoes or skirts please check out our RESOURCES page.

Location & Parking

Classes are held on the lower level at ZaoMke 2319 E Kenwood Blvd in Milwaukee. There is a parking lot and street parking is available in the surrounding area.
